Ingredients

350 g fettuccine
2 chicken breasts sliced
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves minced
250 ml heavy cream
80 g grated parmesan
salt and pepper
chopped parsley

Method

Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water; drain, saving half a cup of pasta water.
Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook in butter 6-7 minutes until golden. Set aside.
In the same pan cook garlic 1 minute; pour in cream and simmer 3 minutes.
Stir in parmesan until smooth; thin with pasta water if needed.
Add pasta and chicken; toss well.
Serve hot with parsley and extra parmesan.
